Life EWAS participated in 10th International Conference on “Circular Economy and Organic Waste”, orbit 2016, held in Heraklion, Crete.
Mrs. Aida Anthouli, D-Waste expert, presented the paper of Life EWAS titled “Setting up municipal local action plans for waste management involving the use of social platforms and ICT Tools” and highlighted the importance of Social Platforms in the waste management local action plans. In her presentation it was also presented the structure of the EWAS Platform that is currently under development. According to her description the platform will include the results of the waste collection of the pilot areas in Chania and Seville, as well as useful information regarding recycling, aiming to the increased recycling performance of the areas.
