The 6th E-Waste Academy-Scientists Edition, will be held in Limerick, Ireland from 13–20 August 2016, hosted by the University of Limerick and supported by ERP Ireland, the Irish Department of Environment and the Irish Environment Protection Agency and Dell.
The intensive eight-day programme includes a mix of student presentations, expert lectures, group work and study tours, giving participants an overview of e-waste issues from an interdisciplinary perspective. Since the first EWAS in 2009, the Academy has become the leading forum available to young scientists involved in e-waste research.
The EWAS network spans nearly 100 EWAS alumni from top universities across 30 countries.
